Learn How to Get DOTA Items

Buy Treasures
Within the game or on DOTA2.com you can buy treasures.
When you open them, there is a chance you will get a very rare, valuable item.
Buy Items
You can buy specific items from the DOTA 2 store, but you typically pay full price. Very rare items are not available for purchase here.
Community Market
Other players can list items for sale on the Steam Community Market. You can typically find a lot of really good deals here.
Once you buy an item here, you will need to wait 7 days before you can trade it.
End of Game Drops
Items are sometimes randomly dropped at the end of the game. As of the time of this writing (December 2015), the dropped items were not very valuable.
Buy on Loot Market
You can buy items right here on Loot Market from other players that have listed items for sale.
We require sellers to list their items below Steam Community Market prices to help make this a great site for buyers.
